INVENTOR'S BIOGRAPHY

Alex Decuir

Alex Decuir was born in 1937 and at a very early age, began learning about and working on automobile engines. His original training came from his father, who was an automotive mechanic and engineer. Being an exceptionally fast learner, Alex developed his skills as an automotive mechanic long before graduating from high school. He started his first successful business by opening his own service station and auto repair service at the tender age of 18, eventually expanding and specializing in automotive transmissions.

Alex has always questioned the efficiency of the internal combustion engine. Improving efficiency and increasing horsepower became his personal obsession. He began experimenting with different ideas on how to achieve these objectives and improve the overall performance of a variety of engines. Not satisfied with just improving the drivetrain of a vehicle, Alex designed and engineered ultra-safe, hi-performance chassis as well.

As he developed and incorporated his ideas for improved performance, it became necessary to put those concepts to the test. The natural progression was racing. Alex drove a variety of race machines from boats to go-carts, midgets, stock-cars and off-road vehicles, establishing records in all arenas. As he honed his racing skills, he was also fine-tuning his engineering capabilities. He focused his energies in off-road racing, and soon became the most successful off-road driver in the history of the sport. In 1983 Alex was named Nevada's Most Winning Off-Road Driver, which included his victory in the International Championship Mint 400, also held in Nevada.

Through dedication and hard work, Alex established a reputation as an expert engine builder developing engines with far more horsepower than his competitors. In 1986 he compiled his notes and published a booklet, titled: "Vehicle Preventive Maintenance", illustrating his complete understanding not only of the internal combustion engine, but of the entire vehicle as an integral unit.Alex Decuir

Since 1961, Alex has been awarded a number of patents for inventions which not only improved the internal combustion engine, but have been instrumental in improving our day-to-day lives. These include an interior cabin compression relief valve, Ford transmission servo, GM 2-speed transmission noise eliminator, and a self-turbo-charged engine. Not only is he mechanically gifted, but he has perfected a line of environmentally safe chemical additives to improve the overall efficiency and performance of all mechanical components. Among his most recent patents is one called the "Decuir Valvetrain System". This innovative system improves the performance and increases horsepower in the engine in such a way that it will revolutionize the valvetrain industry. From that patent, he continued to work toward his most recent projects, which are 1. Decuir Vibration Dampener, 2. Springless Valve System, and 3. Internal Booster.

As with all his inventions, Alex has kept an eye toward improving the environment by reducing emissions while improving overall efficiency and performance of the engine, thereby decreasing cost to the end user. He is still involved with racing and is currently working on future patents. A caring man with simple solutions that will enhance and forever change the automotive world.
